On March 9, 2020, after 100 amazing, full and happy years, George Gianacopoulos left on his final journey. He is sadly missed by his wife Dionisia, children Helene (Nick), Oree (Jett), Michael (Marianne), 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many relatives in Canada, USA and his native Greece. He was dearly loved and truly cherished by family, friends, the community, and anyone who met him. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Mar. 20th at 11:00 am at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver. Father Odisseys Drossos officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby.
