George was born on January 25, 1936, to Barbara and Pius Schell. He was devoted to his family and shared 66 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jackie (née McNeil).
He is survived by his wife Jackie; his sons Dan Schell, Terry Schell (wife Darla), and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Schell, wife of his late son Ron Schell. George was a proud grandfather to Shannon, Christina, Jordan, Jacob and Sara, and a cherished great-grandfather to Gabe, Easton and Cameron.
George will be remembered for his dedication to family and the many lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 6th at 11:00 a.m., followed by a light lunch and refreshments, at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC.
All are welcome to share memories and stories.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
