Gerry Liosis

Liosis, Gerry - Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Gerry was born May 3, 1941, in Kefalonia, Greece. He passed away on April 2, 2026 in Vancouver at the age of 84.

Sadly missed by his loving family; daughter Effie (Kosta), Son Peter (Shari); Grandchildren Katerina (Anthony), Angela (Vassili), Nickolas, Eleni and Jonah.

He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his father Panagiotis, Mother Eftihia and his siblings.

Gerry came to Canada as a young man to start his family.

He enjoyed travelling, acting, fishing, and was well known in the Greek community and the neighborhood.

A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 24 at 11:00am at St. Nicholas and Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4541 Boundary Rd Vancouver.

Committal Service to follow at Pacific Heritage Cemetery at 1:00 pm, 4305 Halifax St, Burnaby.
