I was a friend of your mom's from high school, we were both clarinetists.  I met you a couple of times and lst time I saw your mom see was working at the priceton and we reconected. 
she was full of life and never afraid to speak her mind.  I will miss her

Keiko -- your Mom was such a loving and generous friend.  I'll never forget the very meaningful speech she gave at my wedding.
No matter what was going on for her, she was always so positive and full of humour. She never failed to lift my spirits! 
I believe her greatest gift was her love and commitment to children (especially you!).  She adored my son, Oliver (see photo of him holding her beautiful shells).  Any child felt very valued and loved in her presence.  
She loved to talk about you most of all, Keiko.  She was always amazed and proud of everything you did.  Such a wonderful mother could only have such a wonderful daughter!  I send you lots of love, Keiko.  I will miss your mom dearly.

Dear Keiko, I am soooo sorry of the loss of your mother ,,, she was my softball buddy( we were both catchers ) and friend in High school. Heather as I knew her  was the goofiest girl I knew. when someone was sad or down in any way she just had the right words at the right time ...she was a Positive person...Now she will be in HER "Field of Dreams" !!! Batter up Buddy !!She will always be in my Heart !!

Hiedi as i know her was a very lovely woman, she aways encouraged us single moms to go walk and exercise and even offered to watch our muchkins just so we could go pump it out.  I was studying in UBC and she was always so helpful in sharing her ideas and always offered to look over my paper is i needed.  She was just like a beautiful hummingbird, in which you could never lock her up for she flew all around making people smile and guiding them with her genltle words and her loving gentle presence, you are truly missed and you will never be forgotten......beautiful woman.  Each time i see the beautiful sky and all its colors i will forever know you are at peace and i know i will see you again..........much prayers to Keiko as your mom talked highly of you and was so ever proud and honoured by you...........lots of love Marie, Lakota and Sierrah.........and she did love First Nations people and well she is one of our sisters..................

YOur old neighbours from Kamloops all send their condolences to you my dear. It was with great sadness that i went up and down the street to tell each and everyone that cared for you and your mom here.  So pleased we took photos a few years back. We all cared for you both and do know we are still here for you my dear.

Your Mom was such a delightful lady, open cheery and always with a Hug ready to go. We are all sorry to hear the news Kako. Your mom and Lorraine are sitting together again, and laughing together, never to be alone.

Dear Keiko:  I'm a friend of Virginia and Leo's.  I have a daughter the same age as Leo.  Your mom and I would chat in the playground after school sometimes and I was always struck by how much she loved children.  She spoke of you as well. Heidi and I were both born on the same day, April 2, 1957, within the same hour and if my memory serves me, both in VGH. We hung around together in high school; 1974 and 1975 and a bit afterwards before everyone got spouses and careers and families and distance. I ran into Heidi by chance perhaps 7 or 8 years ago. We chatted and she still seemed the same as always. Persistently happy, a bit goofy, and just plain Heidi. It is with great sadness that I see a life which started in exactly the same circumstance as mine end far too soon. Godspeed Heather Mae.
