In her early years, Heng Cho worked devotedly as a housekeeper, supporting her loved ones with grace and steadfast determination. In 1973, she moved to Vancouver, Canada, beginning a new chapter rooted in family, community, and hope for the future. She gave generously, asked for little, and offered love in the most sincere and simple ways.
Family was the centre of her world. As a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she poured her heart into every generation. She is survived by her children Benson (Vicki) and Richard (Lita); her grandchildren Wilson, Audrey (Kostya), Lori (Stan), Corrie, and Christopher; and her great grandchildren Katie, Trevor, Tim (Emily), Matthew, Leah, and Cadence. Each of them carries memories of her gentle smile, her calming presence, and the unwavering affection she shared so freely.
Heng Cho found joy in life’s simple and familiar pleasures. She enjoyed exercising, sharing laughter over mahjong, eating out especially dim sum, and watching her favourite Cantonese television shows. These moments reflected her warm spirit and the comfort she brought to those around her.
May she rest in peace.
