Still missed. JP was such a kind, thoughtful, generous person and the world is not a better place for his passing.

Terry I heard of your beautiful son's passing yesterday and with a heavy heart I extend my most heartfelt condolensces to both you and your wife.  it was an honour to see all of the beautiful pictures of Jom Pon in your photo album.  God bless you both.  "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal".

I only met JP as a school friend of my daughter a few times. He charmed me with his good nature and humour and his politeness. I thought he was an awesome young  person. Can't imagine how much he is missed by those who were closer to him RIP beautiful boy

What a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and hearts are with you and Cheng. We have watched Jom Pon mature into a wonderful adult and only wish we had more time to spend with him.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Although I haven't seen JP for a few years I still remember him reciting "If" at Kevin's place and Barb and I had a lot of fun with him when we were learning to walk on the big stilts.  Such a lovely young man.  My heart goes out to you both.

   Though his life was far too short, death cannot diminish the impact he had on the lives of so many. Jp was one of the most intelligent,charming, charismatic and loyal men I have ever known. Everytime I read an espeshially eloquent piece of poetry, or hear an espeshially persuasive argument I'll think fondly of him.

Dear Terry and Cheng, We are all still very  much in shock over the sudden passing of your very precious son. We are all honored to have spent time with Jom-Pon at the recent Patrick Family Reunion. Although we did not know him very well, we could see the pride in Aunty Olga and Uncle Pete's eye's when they would tell us all about their  wonderful Grandson. Such a gentle soul ...we cannot begin to imagine what you are going thru.  You  have been in our thoughts and our heart since we heard the terrible news.  Each of your Cousins send our caring thoughts.  All our  children are aching for you. Uncle Carl is particularily saddened. Please know we are ALL available to just listen and  cry with you, whenever you need.

One of my fondest memories is when Terry & Jom-Pon came to my house in Bangkok for my birthday,a few years ago. We BBQ'D a few of Terry's famous N.Y.strips from Vancouver and I cracked a bottle of the good stuff Dom Perignon.I believe Jom-Pon had never tasted Champagne before that.Terry Cheng our prayers and hearts go out to you at this sad time. The first time I met JP He was seven, the second: fifteen. I saw him grow up through Terry's photos: JP always with a special smile. Thanks JP, Cheng and Terry for all you share with me. In the distance my thoughts are with you. Stay strong.

Terry and Cheng, We were all so sad to hear of the sudden passing of your beloved son Jom Pon. We have thought of little else since we heard the sad news. We will always remember him as we saw him last, at Nana's reunion at Lola and Frank's in Burnaby. A sweet little boy of two or three at the time running and playing on the grass. We will also remember the great pride and love that Uncle Pete and Aunty Olga had for him. Their eyes alight with their joy as they told stories of the antics of the little boy they loved so much. Our hearts also go out to Aunty Sharon and all the family in Thailand.
Our hearts break for you and we will remember Jom Pon and your love for him and your pride in him forever. Please know that we are thinking of all of you.

The last time I saw Jom-Pon he was a sweet, happy little guy that brought so much joy to his family. I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy, Terry and Cheng.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child.  My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

JP was an amazing person that I feel incredibly lucky to have met and known. He brought a wealth of fun and knowledge into every gathering that he graced with his presence, and it was very rarely boring with him around. He had poems and songs memorized and it was always fun to hear him recite his most recently learned speech. Damn JP, I miss you.

Sadness overwhelms us each day we think of JP his life and this tragedy.. Our hearts goes out to you Terry and especially the burden that Cheng as a truly devoted mom is bearing..
