August 4, 1952 – December 2, 2025
Joseph Charles Camus, known to many as Charlie, was born on August 4, 1952, in Sudbury, Ontario, to Absalom and Catherine Camus. After a long period of declining health, he passed away on December 2, 2025.
Charlie is survived by his children: Renee Lukasser (Philip), Marc Camus, and Victor Camus; his grandchildren, Juliet and Grace; his sister, Suzanne Camus; his brother, Donald Camus; and many friends who will miss him.
Throughout his life, Charlie worked in a variety of professions, including mining, first aid, working as an orderly, and later in a recycling depot.
In his free time, Charlie enjoyed photography, cooking, and playing card games.
We take comfort in knowing that Charlie is now at rest and at peace.
