Joy Rodrigues

Rodrigues, Joy of Vancouver, formerly of Thornhill, Ontario passed away peacefully with her family at her side on February 25, 2026. Joy is lovingly remembered by her family, her husband of 62 years Julian, her two daughters Karen and her husband Moshe, Alix and her husband Victor. She will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren Scott, Sarah and Tian. She is also remembered by her sisters Elizabeth, Anne and Fay as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

She will be forever remembered for her generous heart, unwavering kindness, and deep devotion to her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved. Her family was the centre of her world, and she filled their lives with warmth, laughter, and steady support.

She dedicated many years of service to RBC Card Services, where she was known for her strong work ethic, professionalism, and friendly spirit. She built lasting friendships with colleagues and took pride in her work.

A devoted member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, she shared her beautiful voice as a member of the parish choir. Singing in the choir was one of her great joys, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.

She was also a dedicated volunteer with Meals on Wheels, where she gave her time and compassion to ensure others felt cared for and remembered. Serving her community in this way was a reflection of her generous and selfless nature.

Her legacy of love, faith, service, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 1:00 pm at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver.
