Patti, I am so sorry to hear about Kenny.
He was always very kind and watched out for me during our time as unexpected roommates. I have many fond memories and although we lost touch, when I think back to the times we shared it brings a smile to my face!

 Thank you so very much for your kind and heartfelt love and memories of my dear brother Kenny.   Yes, I’ve always called him Kenny.  I remember many many years ago , Kenny said, calling me Kenny sounds like I’m to young.   Haha   I still always called him Kenny anyway.   I wish so badly that I could have had you all at Kenny’s funeral, do to COVID  , I was limited to ten people.  There were so many people that wanted to attend , but sadly could not.     And it has been a few years since I’ve seen the crew,  I thank you all for your comments,   Thank you for any pictures.  You can watch the funeral by webcam  if you like ,  I’m going to post some pictures of Kenny’s younger days.   He has always been the sweetest there is.  A peace  of my heart went with him, until I see you again dear Brother.  God Bless you  Kenny.       Thank you Bud.  Kenny  was proud to have friends like you, all of you.   Thank you.  Anyone can ask to me  for a Facebook request so they can see all the pictures.  Or messenger.   .    Kenny’s  beautiful smile started the moment he was born,     Always Smiling , now he’s sitting at a campfire, beside a lake on the side of a mountain,  listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Petty,   Prince,  and many many more artists, strumming their guitars and singing a song  in Heaven. So sad to hear about Kenny's passing. I have fond memories of working with Kenny at various vending events. I admired his can do attitude and carefree attitude towards living.

I worked with Kenny Johnston in the event merchandising industry for many years. He was a  great guy to have by your side when the going got frantic--as it so often did. Working shoulder to shoulder forms a bond of friendship and trust which can only be earned and Kenny was a valued member of the vending crew and a great friend to us all. A tireless worker and reliable team player, always willing to put his shoulder to the wheel to help get the job done and have a few laughs in the process.  Were going to miss you, buddy.

I must say, it is very sad to hear that "Rockin'  Kenny" has left the building.  He had a tattoo that he was very proud of "Rock Sex & Leaf" and that's the life he chose.  He was a kind, honest , hard working man and was a pleasure to work with.

We worked with Rockin' Kenny for years doing merchandise sales at the Coliseum. Fun loving, hard working guy. No one loved music, and working in the music industry  more than Kenny did.

Deepest Condolences to Ken’s Family

Ken and affectionately called Kenny by his comrades at work in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s . He was a man of passion for life , always letting us know what was “cool “ and “ unusual”.
Kenny worked to live the lifestyle he wanted. He was part of a founding crew of production workers who transformed the touring ethic of live music in BC.
Ken worked hard and played hard. Kenny always brought his “A” game no matter how rough the night before antics of playing hard took on his body. Kenny unknowingly taught us respect for a free spirit.  Ken you made a difference in life and made our lives value kindness, joy and a good story .
We’ll be forever thinking  of you . I hope our spirits meet.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ken in the concert business. For years, we toured through BC and did many shows at the Commodore Ballroom and other local venues. We lived together as roomates for a while as well. There was something special about working hard side by side with Ken. Being in the trenches and working together through all kinds of adversity and ultimately achieving our goals together. Kenny always did it with a smile and a positive attitude. My condolences to Patty and the family.
