
He was born on October 4, 1950 in Lethbridge, Alb. Ken attended Jasper Place Composite High School, then Vancouver Community College.
Ken was a welder in his younger years, then focused his talents on his art work, drawing, painting and carving jewelry. He learned from many great artists, one of whom was the late Russell Smith. Ken was also into Kung fu in his twenties, then Chi Kung and Tai Chi were his passions. He was a member of the Taoist Tai Chi Club for over 20 years.
He is survived by his daughter Tamara Big Sorrel Horse & spouse AJ Weasel Fat (her children Mykal,Tayler & Tank); brother Allen Loo; sister Velma Eagle Bear & husband Gilbert (their family); niece Wanda Loo (son Christopher); nephew Grizzly Loo (and family); niece Barb Robinson & husband Curtis (children Shanice, Kaitlyn, Jasmine & Roy); nephew Allen Billy (children Marley & Kesler); niece Theresa Billy & spouse Calvin Antoine (children Alicia & Darius); plus many friends of the Art Community and the Tai Chi Club who were so close they are considered family.
Cremation will be done by Glenhaven Funeral home. Celebration of Life will take place on April 27th, 2015 at 7:00pm at the Taoist Tai Chi Society 588 E 15th Ave, Vancouver, BC
