他於1944年12月19日出生於廣東番禺。作為一位充滿愛心的丈夫和三個孩子的父親，他將畢生精力傾注於照顧家庭。為了讓孩子們能在舒適的環境中成長，他於1990年8月決定帶著家人移居加拿大，希望能為孩子們拓寬未來的道路。
他與妻子鶼鰈情深五十載，一路上互相扶持，共同分擔喜與憂。閒暇之餘，他們熱愛周遊列國，體驗不同地方的文化，共同締造了許多美滿的回憶。
1969年從香港珠海書院畢業後，他在香港展開了土木工程師的職業生涯。隨著事業的不斷發展，他的工作足跡隨後遍及西安和上海等城市。在那裡，他負責監督各項工程項目，並為能夠參與其中深感自豪。在其職業生涯中，他曾服務於多家跨國企業，一路上結識了許多同事與摯友，並與他們共同留下了許多銘記於心的美好回憶。
他的告別儀式將於2026年8月31日（星期一）上午10時在孟碧珊世界殯儀館舉行，隨後將於下午1時在海景墓園舉行安葬儀式。
Lai Kuen Leung, aged 81, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Lai Kuen Leung was born on December 19, 1944, in Panyu, Guangdong. A devoted husband and father of three, he dedicated his life to providing for his family. He wanted to ensure that his children would grow up in a happy environment and made the decision to relocate to Canada in August 1990 with his family in hopes of opening new paths for his children.
He shared a deep and loving bond with his wife for over fifty years. They supported one another unconditionally, sharing in life's joys and sorrows. In their free time, they loved traveling the world, experiencing different cultures, and creating beautiful memories together.
Following his graduation from Hong Kong Chu Hai College in 1969, he began his career as a civil engineer in Hong Kong. As he progressed in his profession, his work would later bring him to other locations, including Xi'an and Shanghai, where he would oversee various projects of which he was proud to be a part. Having worked for several multinational corporations over the course of his career, he met many colleagues and friends along the way, making many fond memories that he held dear to his heart.
His farewell ceremony will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home, followed by a Committal Service at Ocean View Burial Park at 1:00 PM.
