Sunrise: October 10, 1962 – Sunset: July 17, 2026
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lena Marie Joseph (nee: Williams) on July 17, 2026. She was born to her mother Cheryl Jane Williams and late father Lincoln Case on October 10, 1962 in Tacoma, Wa. She grew up in Seattle, Tacoma, Redmond, Kent, and North Vancouver. She attended Cloverly Elementary School, Queen Mary Elementary School, Hamilton Secondary, and Eslha7an School. In her younger years she was a great Pow Wow Dancer. Lena absolutely loved music. She was very artistic and did a number of crafts she sold. Her favourite ones were beading, jewellery, and painting Carl’s carvings. She met Carl when she was 10. They had 50 wonderful years together. They raised their family on the Eshla7an reserve IR no 1 and Seymour IR no. 2. She was a kid at heart. She loved her kids and grandkids. She was always the first one to go out with them and play in the yard. She was spunky and energetic. The boys have fond memories of spending the day at Seymour river and having pizza. She was a big fan of WWE and had an amazing time when she was able to attend when they came to Vancouver. Lena will best be remembered for the vibrance and energy she brought whenever she was around.
Lena is survived by mother Cheryl Jane Williams; husband Christopher Carl Joseph; sons Ryan Earl Williams, Thomas Russell William Joseph (Chelsea); grandchildren: Jeremy Andre Earl Williams (Darcell), Julie Kee Kumka Lee Williams, Sarah Tabitha Antone, Ryan Norman Natrall Jr., Elysia Stella Marie Joseph, Julia Cheryl Marion Joseph, Leona Kimberly Joseph, Torin Christopher Joseph, great grandchildren Jase Marcus Frank Williams, Marcus Andre James William; brothers (Twin) Thomas Lincoln Williams, Russell Vernon Daryl Williams, Richard Matthew Ted White Eagle; special daughter Allison Burns Joseph and many cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
