Beloved husband and father, Man Yuen (John) Kwan, passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 80.
John was born on September 9, 1945 in Guangdong, China and later immigrated to Vancouver, Canada where he met his wife, Wai Yin (Eva). He was a devoted husband of 53 years, a proud father to his children: Holly, William and Simon, and a pillar of support to his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He was a man who always put others before himself, known for his quiet kindness and generosity, sometimes sarcastic sense of humour, and an occasional stubborn streak. He valued his family above all and took great pride in seeing his loved ones succeed and thrive.
Visitation for Man Yuen (John) Kwan will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 10:00 am, with burial will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, at 12:00pm.
