Margaret Victoria Armstrong passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, at the age of 96. A resident of Vancouver, British Columbia, Margaret lived a long and meaningful life surrounded by the love of her family and those closest to her.
Throughout her remarkable 96 years, Margaret created countless memories that will continue to be cherished by her loved ones. Her life was enriched by the many generations of family who surrounded her, and the memories they shared will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Margaret will be remembered with love and affection by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Although her passing brings great sadness, her loved ones can find comfort in remembering the many years they were fortunate to share with her and the special moments that will remain in their hearts.
Margaret is lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl Bruzzese, Janet Sakeski, Vicki Fontana, Leslie Halliday, Ronald Halliday, Donald Racinski, and Lynn Duda. She also leaves behind her brother, Roland Brown, as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the spouses of her children, and many dear friends, all of whom will mourn her passing and cherish her memory.
Margaret was predeceased by her daughter, Catherine Green; her husband, David Armstrong; her first husband, Leslie Halliday; and her sisters, Louise Mueller and June.
Her family is sincerely grateful for the kindness, compassion, and support extended to them during this difficult time.
