On August 26, 2020, (Mary) Marsha Goryk was reunited with her parents John and Mary Procyk, her siblings Viola (George), Patricia (Stanley), William, Peter (Florence), Sophia (Joseph), Tana (Danny) and her husbands, Matthew Manchulenko and Frank Goryk. Marsha was born on January 11, 1923 in Winnipeg, spent summers at Grand Beach and then moved to New Westminster in the decades following. At 97, Marsha leaves behind her devoted entourage of family and friends including her sons Richard (Edna) Manchul of New Westminster, Kenneth (Valdean) Manchul of Calgary; grandchildren Tracy (Joe) Vinet of Abbotsford, Patrice (Rick) Montens of Vancouver, Ken, Kristy, Dean and Bryan (Sarah) Manchul of Calgary; great-grandsons Caeden, Garrick, Thor, Mac, Hunter and Brock; sister-in-law Ethyl Procyk of New Westminster, and so many beloved nieces and nephews. Everyone will miss Marsha’s quick wit, unbridled laughter and love of family and life. We will also miss her fabulous cabbage rolls, perogies and shortbread cookies. The life of every party, a proper celebration for Marsha will be held in the future once we are all able to get together.
