Mr. Monty Joel Carpenter was born on August 8, 1986, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and passed away on February 22, 2024, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the age of 37 years. Monty will be remembered most for his sense of humour, kind smile, and his hugs. Monty was a good baseball player, fisherman, and he loved to cook. His biggest accomplishment was his three children whom he loved very much, and he was proud of everything they did. Monty is predeceased by his birth mother, Nettie, and is survived by his adoptive mother Janice, siblings Trevor, Lynn, Kassie, and Quinn, children Candice, Irene, and Monty Jr., and many loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held for Monty on Friday March 8, from 11:30am-1pm at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver.
