Nancy Kathleen Richardson

Nancy Kathleen Richardson, 70, of Vancouver BC, died February 15, 2017 with her daughter by her side, after a head injury following a courageous battle with several medical conditions. She was born March 1, 1946 to the late Robert and Jean Thompson and is survived by her daughter, Tracey Demmon, of Bellingham WA, and her grandson Joel Demmon, also of Bellingham WA. She has a sister, Linda.

Nancy was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and resided there her entire live, except for a short time living in Mazatlán, MX.

Nancy was a secretary, Grandmother, Mother, and best friend that will be deeply missed. She was a source of support and encouragement, and an inspiration to persevere. She was a single mother and raised her daughter with selflessness and unconditional love. She instilled a drive to nurture, face challenges, and be as strong as her. She died knowing she was loved.

A memorial and reception will be held at First Memorial, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, on Saturday March 4, 2017 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please engage in a random act of kindness towards a homeless person or someone in need. Give a cold person a blanket or buy them lunch. Spread some goodwill.
