Oliver was born on January 30, 1934, in Griffin, Saskatchewan, to his adoring parents, Arnold R. and Christina V. Oberson. Oliver is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Flora F. Oberson; and his siblings: Warren Oberson, Dorothy Wheeler, Edith Wetzel, Kathleen Wright, and Jean Caros. He is lovingly survived and remembered by his sons, Norman Oberson, William Oberson, and Graham Oberson; and his grandchildren: Julia Oberson, Andrew Oberson, and Katherine Oberson.
A funeral service for our father will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home, 306 East 11th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 2C6. A burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
