Passed away peacefully at Brock Fahrni, while in the company of his family, at the age of 91. Born in Cumberland, Vancouver Island, B.C.
Park was a WWII Veteran attached to the Canadian Army. Upon his return to Vancouver, Park worked a number of jobs in restaurants and spent time in Trail, BC. Eventually he moved to Dauphin, Manitoba and took over his sister Mamie's restaurant, the Grange Cafe. He married his wife, Linda in Hong Kong and began to raise a family. He was completely devoted as a husband and father. He eventually retired to Vancouver.
Park was a long-time member of the Chinese A.N.A.V. Pacific Unit #280, the Chown Mem Chinese United Church and the Royal Canadian Legion. He was also the President of the Chinese A.N.A.V. Pacific Unit #280 from 1999 to 2000. Park is the loving father of Melanie (Jack), Anita (Don), Alvin (Stacey) and grandfather of Chad, Kevin, Nathan and Nolan.
Predeceased by his loving wife Linda in 1977. Survived by siblings Mamie, Wayne, Jack and many nieces and nephews.
