Paschalis was born on May 9th , 1934 to Christos and Vasiliki in Dolania, Epirus, Greece. After losing his father in the Greek Civil War at the age of 14, he moved to Athens alone to attain work and provide for his mother and siblings.
While working in the same Bakery, he met Stavroula and was married in 1961. After starting a family and completing training as a pastry chef, they immigrated to Canada in 1969. In Canada, Paschalis and Stavroula welcomed a third son and Paschalis went on to own and operate a Bakery until his retirement.
Paschalis was predeceased by his father and mother, brother Dimitri and sisters Margarita and Anastasia. He is survived by his wife Stavroula, his sons Christos (Stavroula), Minas (Michele) and Nickolaos (Irene) as well as grandchildren Marina, Mila, Stavroula, Pascal and Gabriel Pascal.
Services will be held at St George Greek Orthodox Church on Monday January 10th at 12:00 noon . In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
