He was the beloved husband to Irene Fedeas for 54 years.
Born in Losna - Platsa, Messenia, Greece, he was the son of George and Eugenia Psefteas.
He served in the Greek Army from 1953 to 1961.
Paul was an X-Ray Technician at various Army Hospitals and as a civilian worked with X-ray machines for Seimans in Nuremburg, Germany. He returned to Greece in 1964 where he met the love of his life, Irene, who was visiting from Canada where she had emmigrated in 1957. They married in Athens and that same year he joined his wife in Vancouver where they made a life and home. He retired in 1997 having owned various restaurants with his brother and business partner, Pete.
His life was a living example of compassion, forgiveness and loyalty. He will be remembered as a devoted and loyal son who cared for his mother and siblings and as a loving and loyal husband, father and doting grandfather.
In addition to his loving wife, Paul is survived by: Son, George; Daughter, Evie (Timothy); grandchildren, Eric, Katherine and James; brother, Panagiotis (Panagiota), sister, Efstathia and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 7:30 pm at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, where Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 12:00 pm.
