Ackerman, Philip Stanley – Born Thursday, March 31, 1960 at Grace Hospital in Vancouver. Phil passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 with friends and family nearby. Predeceased by his father (Stanley). Left to celebrate his life are his mother Claudine; brother Gord (Sue); sister Joanne (Rob); his nieces Jessica, Catherine (Kevin), Jenn; nephew Nicholas and his many friends and extended family. A Celebration of Phil’s Life will be held at The Junction, 1138 Davie Street in Vancouver on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at St Paul’s Hospital and all of Phil’s friends at PJ’s for their support. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC or to a charity dear to your heart.
