Ping Kwan Yuen

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of a wonderful Father on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. After a long life, well lived, Ping Kwan passed away peacefully at the age of 95. He was an inspiring, gentle man who cared more about others than about himself. Beloved husband of Siu Yung for 70 years and dear father of Ernest (Olivia), Howard (Nora), Stephen (Christine), Andrew (Sylvia); his daughters Anna (Joseph) and May (Ken). Greatly loved and admired by his grandchildren Yvonne (Michael), Michelle, Eric (Karen), Lisa (Doug), Raymond, Brian, Jason, Lynette, Chris, Calvin (Allison), Jennifer and Wesley and great grandchildren Charlotte and Joseph. He was also a cherished brother and uncle to his two younger brothers, one sister and many nephews and nieces.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where a Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave. Burnaby, BC. Arrangements entrusted to Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, Vancouver, BC. 604.255.5444.
