Willigar, Roy A. - Age 81, of Vancouver, BC, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Born in Parrsboro Road, he was the son of the late Melvin and Reta (Bennett) Willigar. Roy worked for TD Bank for over 38 years and was an avid golfer in his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Cora (Crowley) Willigar. He is survived by his children, daughters Corinne (Carsten) and Danette (Patrick); grandchildren Stephanie, Bianca, Declan, and Genevieve; sister Judy Durning (Ted) of Economy; brothers Carl (Suzann) of Parrsboro and Doug (Sharon) of Back Bay, NB. He was predeceased by his sisters Viola, Alice, and Maisie; brothers Lloyd and Trueman; and also two brothers and two sisters in infancy. In keeping with Roy’s wishes, the family will be remembering him privately. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Willigar family.
