Santo Fazio

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Santo Fazio, beloved husband and father, devoted grandfather, and respected brother. Santo passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 28, 2019, in Vancouver, BC.

Santo was a devoted family man. His brothers and sisters were his best friends. His wife, children and grandchildren filled his days with joy. He was always there to lend a hand -- whether it was to prune a tree or to dig a garden. He was happiest at home with his family, working in his garden and enjoying the outdoors.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Maria, his children Mimma and Rosa (Randy), his grandchildren Massimo and Tiana and his brothers, Giuseppe (Lina) in Italy, Tony (Rosa), Fred (Linda), Bert (Lina), Vince (Tammy); sisters, Chiara (Sam), Rosa Gentile, Filomena Higinbotham (Leigh), and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 5, at 11:00am, at St. Jude’s Parish, 3078 Renfrew Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment will be held at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, in the South Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society.
