Hi, my name is Fiona.  I met Sean just a few years ago and, although he'd had a tough few years, his sweet nature, good humour, and kindness shone through.  He was a funny guy - he must have been an awesome kid!

I wish I'd had longer to know him.  Sean left an imprint on my heart, and I know that will be the case with everyone who knew him.  

I am sorry I can't be there for his funeral, but please know that my prayers are with his family and all who loved him.  God's blessings be on you all - and we know he's safe in God's love now and always.  Rest peacefully, friend. 

I have known Sean throughout my entire career as a nurse. Working with Sean shaped my practice in so many ways and he taught me so much about what kind of nurse I want to be. I am so lucky to have learned form him. Even when he was feeling his worst, he was always so kind to those around him. Sean was truly special and he will always be remembered by me and many of my colleagues. My sincerest condolences to the family. 

To my wonderful younger brother who brought love and laughter wherever you went.  You were kind and generous who always brought a smile to my face and those stories you told, were one of a kind.   We had great times together especially when you bought your moped scooter and sped up and down Somerset St.  I love and miss you and  sure you're in the loving arms of Mom and Dad.

My name is Karim and I am a lawyer.  I met Sean in Gastown and I was helping him work through some challenges that he faced when he was much younger.   From the very first meeting, I had a sense that Sean was a very insightful, thoughtful and kind spirit.  Then every subsequent interaction with Sean only further confirmed this as our friendship grew.    I also met his sister Sandra and this was a really special day.  The lessons I learnt about the strength of family from Sean and Sandra are very special.  I will really miss Sean and feel so very blessed that our paths were able to connect for a short while.  I take comfort in knowing that Sean is now in his eternal home resting above in the loving arms of the  Creator.  Your friend, Karim 

My wonderful little brother.  One of my most memorable memory of you was in Vancouver three years ago, we were in Gass Town watching a cycling race and all you talked about was how much Paul would love to be here with us, and yes Sean he would have loved it.  You always thought about other people.  I will miss you forever. All my love.

Sean was the cutest, mischievous, kind and funniest little kid.  When his sister Ethel and I counted our paper money in the O'Neill kitchen Sean would show up and perform.  Once, he showed up in his underwear and Mrs O'Neill was telling him to get dressed but he had to do his dance first, we tried not to laugh but he wouldn't leave until we did, he was the sweetest kid.  Years later we met up at Sandra's and he never changed a bit, always the same endearing Sean.   Peace be with you Sean.

My heartfelt condolences to The O'Neill Family

Sean, I will never forget you. I will always cherish the memories we had together. We spent a lot of time together when I was pregnant with Aaliyah. We had so many drives in my Cavalier  & many Timmy trips for French vanillas. You loved my car so much we planned for you to buy it. I’m so glad I got to visit you at King Haven and even bring the kids. You wouldn’t let us leave without giving them each a 20$ bill. That was the kind of person you were, you would give to anyone, you loved everyone, and you never judged. Every time I saw you or talked to you on the phone you always told me how proud you were of me and that you loved me. Sean has so many more memories then I do and he always told me them. You were more like a big brother to him then an Uncle, you always wanted to protect him. The kids will never forget you GUS and either will I. I would do anything to see you one more time. The world has lost a good one. I love you so much RIP
