Sharon Rose Paull
‘Sharon Stone’
Sunrise: May 11, 1970 – Sunset: July 3, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sharon Rose Paull on July 3, 2026. She was born to her late parents Jolene Joseph (nee Paull) and Gilbert Nahanee on May 11, 1970, in North Vancouver, BC. Sharon attended Capilano Nursery School, Queen Mary Elementary, Keith Lynn Secondary, and Hamilton High School. She was very artistic and loved to paint, carve, cook and make cedar roses. You would always find Sharon cleaning or praying for everyone by lighting all the candles at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. If you knew Sharon, you’d know that she was a very vibrant and eccentric woman. She always had a great sense of fashion and was a loving mother to her children as well as kids in the neighborhood. Sharon was also very cultural. She attended all types of ceremonies ranging from longhouse, Shaker Church, Sweat lodges and Sun Dances. She was very caring and always looked out for her friends and family all over, especially on the DTES. Sharon was proud to be sober for the last 3 years! She was a proud warrior woman and fought cancer right to the end. She will best be remembered for having her “mom look” when she disapproved, her beautiful, kind, caring smile, and her deep love for her family.
Sharon is survived by her loving children Jay Christen Watts Paull, Todd Edwin Paull, Malcolm Leonard Paull, August Rose Kobierski and Mary Dana Kobierski; siblings Yvette John, Robert John (Elaine), Wes Spikerman, Dawne Danielle Paull (Tom), Susanne Lesley Amanda Paull(Yul) Lisa Louise Miranda Paull-Newman (Victor), Ashley Christine Catherine Jolene Paull; God mom Kathy Carpenter and best friend Elaine Joseph and many nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.
