It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tsan Hoi So on August 15, 2026, at the age of 77, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Guangzhou, China, he immigrated to Canada as a first-generation immigrant and worked tirelessly to build a life for himself and his family. Through his hard work and perseverance, he created a loving home and a life he could be proud of.
He was a devoted husband and father, known for his warm smile, sense of humour, and love of joking around. He always tried to bring happiness to those around him, even during the most difficult times.
He especially enjoyed gardening, taking pride in caring for his plants and watching them grow. His caring, hardworking, and optimistic nature was reflected in everything he did.
Above all, his family meant everything to him. He will always be remembered for his strength, his sacrifices, his laughter, and the love he gave us.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Yue Chang Wu, and his children, Raymond So and Ying Shan Su, along with his extended family and friends.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home, 306 East 11th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 2C6.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and offer their final farewell.
