It is with great sadness we advise of the passing of our dear relative Vera Lynn Wood (nee Paull). Vera passed away surrounded by love of family and friends at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. She was born in Vancouver on August 29, 1963 to her mother Lucille (nee Lewis) and father Eddy Paull. She descends from the Paull/White & Lewis/Lacket Joe families of Squamish Nation. Vera had a great work ethic and was inspiring, motivating and always supportive. She began at CP Rail then went on to work with Squamish Nation’s Social Development Department and Ayas Men Men Child and Family Services. Vera was a very kind, gentle person who was loyal and dedicated to family and friends. She lived for a number of years with ALS, commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease, and was amazing through the progression of the illness.
