Yvonne was born on October 14, 1927, in Fort Bayard, China, to Gaston Apiou and Pong Shie.
She was a devoted wife to Yuen Moon Chow, a loving mother to her five children, a
grandmother to her three grandchildren and great grandmother to her five great
grandchildren.
She was the sixth child of fourteen children in her family, and is survived by her children,
grandchildren, great grandchildren, one brother and five sisters.
A prayer service will be held at Fo Guang Shan Vancouver Temple on August 24 at 10 am. In
addition, a memorial service will be held at Minoru Residence on September 24 at 2 pm.
