It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zacharias (Jack) Kouvalis on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife Julia; children Maria (John), Toula (Jason); grandchildren Zack, Stefan. Jack was a selfless and giving man who loved to cook, fish and golf. He found true joy in taking care of his wife and spoiling his children and grandchildren. He was a true gentleman that will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Prayers to be held Thursday, September 3, 7:30 p.m. at St. Georges Greek Orthodox Church, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver where a Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 4, 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Forest Lawn cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint John the Forerunner Monastery (http:/ /www.stjohnmonastery.org) in his memory.
