As a child Bonnie moved to Yakima where she graduated from high school. After graduating she moved to New Jersey where she worked as a hat model for Bamberger’s Department Store. She later moved to L.A. and worked as an executive secretary for Liberty Mutual Insurance. After many adventures, Bonnie moved to Seattle to be closer to her parents. While living in Seattle she met the love of her life, Frederick. In 1964 they were married at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Seattle. Two years later, she and Fred moved to Vancouver for his new job. This is where Bonnie and Fred settled to start their family and where they chose to remain. While living in Vancouver, she had several jobs. Over the years she worked for Maaco, Alcoa and Recovery Northwest. She was also quite involved in her church of about 40 years, St. Luke’s Episcopal.
Bonnie was a real fighter. She fought and won two battles with breast cancer. She was an inspiration to other women dealing with breast cancer.
Bonnie is survived by her loving son, Brent (Mike Ross) Williams.
