Hope Brillante died peacefully on Saturday night January 28, 2017. She is survived by her son, Joe; her daughter, Marie; and her sister, Febes. Hope has been surrounded by many loving and caring nieces and nephews and was a memorable grandmother to their kids. She also treasured her AAUW friends of 40 years.
She was a head strong romantic who loved poetry and storytelling. One of her proudest accomplishments was earning her degree and teaching certificate from the University of Washington when she was 51 years old.
Hope leaves a legacy of love, wisdom and laughter to all who touched her life.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that people donate to the charity of their choosing.
The funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Saturday, February 4th, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place privately at Willamette National Cemetery.
