Harriet Ann White

Harriet A. White passed away at the age of 87 on August 9, 2012. She was born in Maryhill, WA and later moved to Ridgefield, WA where she grew up through her teen years. After attending WSU, she married Franklin F. White and resided in Vancouver, WA on a farm close to her family home in Ridgefield.

Harriet loved livestock and raised Tennessee Walking horses. One of them was even a West Coast champion. She continued to raise and ride horses into her later years. And she still maintained a herd of a half dozen horses at the time of her death.

Harriet is survived by her daughter Mary R. Santa of Ridgefield; her son James L. White of Ridgefield; her daughter Margaret A. Archer of Battle Ground; and her son Stephen F. White of Vancouver.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday August 14th at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel (110 E 12th).
