Karen was born at Southwest Clinic Hospital, Lawton, OK at 4:20 a.m. on October 11, 1941 to Marvin Lovis and Wilma Faye (Stephenson) John. She died at 10:00 a.m. on May 18, 2016 at Peace Health Medical Center in Vancouver, WA.
Karen graduated from Lawton High School in 1959. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Vancouver.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Craig) Wahlstrom, three grandchildren and her husband Ted Knight.
