Robert Edwards

Robert "Bob" Dale Edwards of Vancouver, WA, passed away Friday night, Feb. 26, 2010, at home surrounded by the family and friends he cherished most in his life. He died of complications from pneumonia. He was born in Bemidji, MN on Feb. 9, 1938.

Bob was a true entrepreneur. He loved carpentry and business. He started several companies with his brothers, father and children. He created Western Construction in 1980 where many family members and friends enjoyed employment as well as education.

Bob really enjoyed his friendships which were many. His hobbies were bowling, fishing, computers, ham radio and working. His greatest treasure in life was his marriage and family.

his vast knowledge. Just be ready for the truth."

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia "Idler" Edwards; his brother, Dick Edwards; sons, Jim and Ron Edwards; and daughter, Ann Marie Eaton. He was also the loving grandfather and mentor of his grandchildren, Ryan, Kailee, Crystal, Tricia, Rob, Raeanne, Hannah, Erica, Adam, Dylan and Aydan.

A viewing will be held Wed., March 3, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Services will be held on Thurs., March 4, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Nazarene Church, 14410 NW 21st Ave., Vancouver. Interment will follow at Park Hill Cemetery.
