Shirley Ann (Tenerelli) Hill of Vancouver passed away at home 16 November 2012 at age 67. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Hill; a daughter, Andrea Hill of Vancouver; a son, Richard J. Hill of Castle Rock, Colorado; three beloved granddaughters, Lauren Elizabeth Hill, Sophie Grace Hill and Taylor Ann Hill, all of Castle Rock, Colorado; and two sisters, Beverly Anderson and Deanna Montgomery.
Shirley was born to Joseph and Genevieve Tenerelli in Portland, Oregon, the youngest of three girls. Shirley attended school in Portland, graduating from Franklin High School. Graduating from Clark College in General Studies, her focus was in archeology. She enjoyed participating in many archeological digs.
Her interests included domestic and international travel, RV travel and tours, independent foreign travels, cruises and over 40 trips to the Hawaiian Islands, a destination she dearly loved. She was an accomplished genealogist, skilled in old German and Italian records and documents, and traveling and researching domestically and Europe. One of her favorite past times was sewing doll clothes and accessories for her three granddaughters and teaching them how to cook and knit.
Shirley’s greatest joys in life were her husband,
children, granddaughters and niece.
