

Wilho, or Crazy Papa to those that knew him, was born on June 08, 1948 in Gardner, Massachusetts to Wilho and Lillian Toristoja. One of 6, Wilho is survived by his sisters and their spouses, Val and Paul Rasku, Kathy and Gene Martini, Nancy and Jonh Hulkoff, Jane and Bob Smith and brother Eric Toristoja.
Wilho graduated from Madison High School in Portland, Oregon and completed a Welding program through community college.
There wasn’t an adventure that Papa would turn away from or an ear willing to hear the Good News of Jesus. He was the pillar of this family and the thousands of lives that he touched during his life. Papa loved the Lord as was His servant, Papa never wasted a moment of the life that God gave him.
Wilho is survived by many who will miss him deeply and include:

Father of 8 Children and Spouses: Timo and Cristy Toristoja, Waino and Irene Toristoja, Dano and Stacy Toristoja, Abigail and Ryan Fabian, Wilho Toristoja, Jr, Sarah and Chris Engel, Leah and AJ Latino, Hannah and Kevin Terwilleger.
Grandfather to 21 : Dustin Saulter, Adriane, Kayla, Timo JR, Tai, Taya, William, Jacob, Nathan, LeAnn, Taylor, Madison, Hayden and Summer Toristoja; Andrew and Cameron Fabian; Sophie and Rylee Engel; Laila Latino; Haley and Beau Terwilleger.
Great-Grandfather to 7 : Michael Broadhead, Eleanor Ferraro, Ava and Brynn Saulter, Margo, Ruby and Morgan Toristoja.
He is in Heaven with his grandchildren who proceeded him, Dyllan, Niomi and Autumn Toristoja.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Bethesda Church in Vancouver Washington on Monday April 5, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
Followed by a 2:00 pm graveside service at Northwood Park Cemetery in Ridgefield Washington.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms from those that loved him as we do!
