Sorry for your loss.. I met Mr. Tkachuk only a few times, but remember those times with great fondness.  From what I see in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren he set a wonderful example.

Olive and I had the privilege of being at the farm while George celebrated his last two birthdays.  Although a very quiet man, we enjoyed whatever he had to share.  How great that he was able to enjoy two great-grandchildren.  The farm will never be the same.  Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time.

You will be dearly missed, you are now with some great people, (Baba Tkachuk, my son Justin Tkachuk and my father Joseph Zingle) with all of you watching over us, I know we are blessed.  Until we meet again.  Love Georgina

Uncle George was one of my most favorite relatives, even though my own family comittments has me not seeing any of the family members of my youth for many years. I hope your fond memories will temper and ease the loss of such a fine man, a great father, Grandfather and Uncle.
