

Lavohn attended school on Little Gasparilla Island before continuing her education in college. She was the daughter of Walter George Gault and Louise Cole Gault, who founded the Gasparilla fishery and built shrimp boats in Placida, Florida, in 1944.
Lavohn met Earl Schworn while he was stationed at the United States Air Force base in Venice, Florida. The two fell in love and were married, building a life together centered on family. They were blessed with two children: daughter Karen Schworn Wille and son Michael Earl Schworn.
Lavohn was a devoted grandmother to Victoria Wille, Timothy Wille, and David Schworn, and a proud great-grandmother to Rose DiDonato Wille. She is also survived by her sisters, Eunice Albritton and Patsy Matherly, and her brother, Walter Gault Jr.
A woman of faith, Lavohn was a longtime member of Englewood Methodist Church, where she found community and fellowship.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on April 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Chapel of Peace, 2401 Englewood Road, Englewood, Florida.
A committal service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Park.
Lavohn will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the legacy she leaves behind in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
