Well yall call him Spud, I say Bud! My only regret is that we lived so far away. You have always held a special place in my heart. It meant so much for me for you and Betty to invite me to live with yall.  I was looking forward to having a Little ? sister lol.  That being said my husband won out and I stayed in Mississippi.  I have always felt the love from Leland, Patty, Tommy and James and that is due to your and Bettys guidance. God has blessed this family with your being our brother. Love you very much and will miss you. I loved our last few visits with you until we meet again give Mom, Betty, Juanita, Mildred, Bobby and Melissa a hug oh man and Jerry, and Early. I know you are having a ball!!! 

I have so many memories of crawford and betty,Crawford was my dads best friend and they stayed in touch,crawford spoke at my moms funeral and when dad was in the hospital crawford was there,that means so much to sandy and i.When we went to see Crawford in the nursing home he always shared stories about him and my dad.Love ya crawford,im going to miss hearing you sing and hearing your stories, when you see my mom and  dad in heaven give them a hug from me and tell them i love and miss them.You are one of a kind crawford.love ya.

Loved this man he was one of a kind, I will truly miss him, Everytime I seen him he would always say hello bigun, only he can say that. I loved him and James playing and singing together. Rest easy Uncle Spud 

Spud you are a very special man to us! Your smile,your beautiful sense of humor and your caring way! You will always be remembered by your garden of tomatoes and peppers at the facility with me helping make sure you had the right garden boxes and would come see you every morning and Linda trying to make sure you got your old fashion breakfast of over easy eggs and sausage gravy! Talking about old Venice/ Nokomis times and can’t forget swamp cabbage and oysters and sometimes tell me about turtle soup! Thank you for always making Sonny and I part of your family. You are truly a honorable man and will truly be missed. Rest In Peace Spud and please watch over all of us everyday and thank you for all your services💐🙏🏻
