Born in Marshall, Minnesota Scott was known for many things, but perhaps most for his extraordinary talent was in the kitchen. To Scott cooking was more than a hobby—it was his love language.
Whether he was perfecting a Turducken, Beef Wellington or Prime Rib dinner or experimenting with a new spice, he found his greatest joy in gathering friends and family around the table for a superb holiday meal. He believed that cooking was an art and a science and was always open to improving on a great dish while engaged in a good laugh. Scott left a legacy of secret recipes that his family will treasure forever.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia M Severson and his brother Craig Severson, sister Sheri Jackson, children, Scott Andrew Severson (grandchildren Savannah and Logan), Jourdan Pattwell Irons (grandchildren Amelia and Landon), Trinity Severson and dog Zachariah.

In his honor, the family asks that you share a meal with someone you love.
