Man....I deeply regret not hearing this news earlier but none the less I want to extend my condolences to Shell's boys, Barry and Brian.

I am so sorry to hear about Shelly. I just found out today. He was very close to my Father Chuck Rossler and I would love when he would come to the deli and hang out with my Dad. I hope they are up in heaven hanging out together. My condolences to his family 

I am very saddened by Shelly’s passing and send my sincere condolences to Barry and Brian and family.  Thinking back to the days when I was a kid and came to visit “Uncle Shelly” was always so kind and humorous. He will be missed. Hugs and love, Denyse

I’m so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing.  Shelly was always so very kind to me even as I sold him gear!  He had a way of making everyone feel special and seemed genuinely interested in all of us!  His stories and his caring smile always lifted my spirits.  A delightful person who’ll be woefully missed. Our industry lost an icon in my humble opinion!

Barry & Brian,
I was truly saddened to learn of the passing of your dad today.  I always enjoyed working with Shelly throughout the years- hearing his stories and discussing his life and family.  
Even on his retirement, I looked forward to seeing him on  the occasion he would return back to the shop to tell me of his motorcycle antics and RV'ing adventures.  
As a fellow sailor, an Irish blessing from me to Shelly- “May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face. And may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.”

Sheldon was my brother in law many years ago, I remember having  & sharing many good times back then. My sincerest sympathy, from your old uncle, to Brian & Barry & family.
