It’s hard to put into words what he meant to me.
He wasn’t just a stepdad — he was a true friend, a mentor, and one of the funniest guys I’ve ever known.
When I first came to the United States, he was the one who stood by my side, helped me through the tough times, and always knew how to make me laugh when I needed it most.

We shared so many good moments together — moments I’ll hold onto for the rest of my life.
Stephen, thank you for everything you did for me, for your support, your humor, and your big heart.

You’ll always be in my heart, and I’ll never forget you.

In this picture I told him over and over again he didn’t have to stop by the job but he just had too. That’s what made him so well liked and a great property manager! He will be greatly missed!!!

Stephen Meylan fun loving father of Holly and Lia and the late Laura Jessica. Grandfather to 10 wonderful grandchildren.
Steve Meylan left high school in…. No that’s not our dad. Our dad was funny and sarcastic with the driest darkest humour on earth. We lived a very wonderful childhood with dad we traveled wide and far and he would take us places most children could only dream of. He was scatter brained and once put an electric kettle on a gas stove. The practical joker who would play a joke on his own grandma by putting raw fish in her pockets. He loved the Lake District and the water. He loved an adrenaline rush. He once rolled a car climbed out and walked to work! He loved to cook, eat and drink tea. Both Holly and I have so many wonderful memories of our Dad in England, and the holidays we took in Florida. If a hurricane hit, Dad would drag us to the beach to watch the waves. He feared nothing. 
Daddy we love you from the bottom of our hearts. We will miss you for an eternity, and we hope where ever you are they are playing Star Trek. Love from your ever loving daughters Holly and Lia xxx

I went to school with Steve. I even started work with him,at an engineering company in Trafford Park,though he didn’t stick it for long. We all just messed about and Steve was up for anything. He was a great lad and we lost touch when he left work. It was so sad to hear the news. R.I.P. and condolences from Pete Quirk.
