Terry lived in Osprey, Florida, where he continued to do what he loved most - spending time with family and keeping his hands busy. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 60 years, Judith, and a proud father to his two sons. He is survived by his eldest son, Matt Bernard, his wife Janie and their children, Harry and Abby; and by his son Jon Bernard, his wife Julie, and their children, Cooper and Declan.
Above all else, Terry was a family man. He took immense pride in being a husband, father, and especially a Grandad. His grandchildren were the joy of his later years, and he treasured every moment with them.
Terry enjoyed a long and accomplished career with Kenner Products, where he served as Director of Packaging across all toy categories. His work played a key role in the success of some of the most iconic toy lines of all time, including Star Wars, Starting Line-Up, Easy-Bake Oven, and G. I. Joe. An engineer and architect at heart, Terry brought creativity, precision, and problem-solving to everything he touched - professionally and personally.
He also had a lifelong passion for cars and a deep love for repairing and fixing things. If something was broken, Terry believed it could be made right with patience, ingenuity, and care.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet wisdom, and willingness to help without being asked. Terry leaves behind a legacy of devotion, craftsmanship, and a life well lived.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
