Born on August 22, 1945, in Shirley, Massachusetts, Wanda was the cherished daughter of Marion and Ruel Webster. During her school girl days she lived in East Hampstead, New Hampshire where she met the love of her life Richard. They started dating at the age of 16 after having their first date at the school lunch dance. They were married on July 3, 1965, raised three children and have spent the last 65 years together.
Wanda’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and her devotion to her family. She found joy in celebrating God’s creation through her talents as an artist, especially in her watercolor paintings of birds, butterflies, sunflowers, and other natural wonders. A true lover of nature and animals, Wanda also enjoyed photography, capturing the beauty around her and the special moments she shared with her loved ones.
Her greatest pride and joy, however, was her family. Wanda was the proud mother of three children, a devoted grandmother to eleven grandchildren, and a doting great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. She embraced her role as “Gramom” with unparalleled love and affection, creating countless cherished memories for her grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be remembered forever.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her children, Cheryl, Rich, and Ruel; her grandchildren, Justin, Aaron, Alyssa, Tessa, Ashlee, Alexandria, Brock, Danni, Tristan, Khloe, and Remi; and her great-grandchildren, Killian and Isla.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, Wanda’s faith, love, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be on February 1, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Gulf Coast Assembly of God, 2800 Pan American Blvd., North Port, Florida 34287
