

An immigrant to the United States from Greece, via El Salvador in 1962, Afroditi settled in Ventura, Calif. in 1962 with her husband George of 47 years.
She was a seamstress for 45 years in the drapery industry and then worked in alterations at a local cleaner, for several years. Afroditi had always been involved in her church of St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church and was always available in lending a helping hand or visiting the sick and elderly when needed.
She took great pride in her heritage and family. Afroditi leaves behind her husband, George; daughter, Helen and son in-law, Nick; three grandsons, Alexandros, Georgios and Anastasios; sisters, Katina, Joanne, Koula; and brother, George. May her memory be eternal.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, November 22nd, 5:00 P.M., with Trisagion Service beginning 7:00 P.M., both held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church , 400 Skyway Drive, Camarillo. Funeral services are on Wednesday, November 23rd, 11:00 A.M., also at St. Demetrios Greek Orothdox Church. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
