Cynthia Louise Oleary

Cynthia Louise O’Leary, 83, of Ventura, died January 8, 2011 after a brief illness. Cynthia was born in Carroll, Iowa on July 26, 1927. She moved to Ventura County 55 years ago, coming from Sioux City, Iowa.

Cynthia was employed as a court clerk for the County of Ventura for many years. Some of her favorite hobbies were fishing in the ocean, golfing and playing the piano.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Dick O’Leary. She is survived by her sister Rosalie Gnam of Santa Paula; brother Lou Gnam (wife Jan) of Perry Park, CO and their children Carol Imber (husband Brian; son Sean) of Mukilteo, WA; Martha Alexander (husband Mark; daughter Amanda & son Jackson) of Santa Fe, NM; Bill Gnam of San Diego.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 14th, 1:30 p.m. at Bardsdale Cemetery, 1698 S. Sespe St., Fillmore. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Rd., Ventura. Condolences may be left at www.tedmayrfuneralhome.com.
