With a heavy heart I write to send my sincere condolences and sympathy on the passing of my first cousin, Diana Lynn. Her father and my mother were brother and sister. I was born on Diana Lynn's third birthday and so I always felt a special connection to her. We always had such good times together whenever she visited from the United States. I last saw her in Sun City West and had a wonderful visit. Just remember that the ones we love never leave us, for their beautiful memories are imprinted in our hearts forever.

It is with deep regret that we mourn the passing of our cousin Diana Lynn.  She was most proud of her sons and grandchildren; a caring daughter, mother, grandmother and cousin.  As such, her passing also fades the bridge that binds our families.  Diane was our first cousin, the daughter of our father Roy Findlay's brother Vern.   She always seemed to be the elder cousin, the one who lived in the fabled east when we were growing up.  To her, we were her Canadian relatives on her father's side.  Our visits were few as we carried on with our lives. We spoke not often, but enough that she seemed always to be there.  She will be missed.

Our condolences to Dave, Jim, Jeff, Jason and their families.  We are so sorry to hear about Diane. We will always remember Diane's love for her family.  She was so proud of her boys and often shared their news with us. Her tireless efforts with her mom, were those of a dedicated and loving daughter.  We will miss our chats and our visits in California, Phoenix, and here in Canada. She is now together with Uncle Vern, whom she loved so dearly.  Rest in peace Diane.
