Elizabeth Ray Kisby

Elsie was born on July 3, 1935, in Glasgow, Scotland to Margaret “Betty” McAlorum and Adam Alan Loan Ingram. She met her beloved husband Harry Kisby in 1957, and they married in 1960. Together they came to the United States in 1963, where their daughter Kerry Lynn was later born in 1966.

Elsie was a very hardworking woman. She was a passionate baker while living in both Ireland and California. After her daughter was born, she became a daycare provider. Elsie enriched the lives of many children through her work, being a loyal member of the Ventura Daycare Association, and even being named the Daycare Provider of the year before.

She was preceded in death by her true love, Harry; parents; brother; and sister-in-law. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Kerry Lynn her husband Scott; three beloved grandsons, Spencer, Cameron, and Dylan; and her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout both Ireland and England. All of whom she adored wholeheartedly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends alike.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 11:00 A.M., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, California.
